Become a Mini Focus Distributor: Global Wholesale Partner Program
Mini Focus is an original watch manufacturer working with importers, wholesalers, retail chains and online sellers in more than 60 markets. This page explains what the distributor program includes, who it suits, and how to apply. If you are still weighing whether to buy watches for resale at all, start with our wholesale watch business guide and come back here when you are ready to talk terms.
What a Distributor Partnership Actually Means
A distributor relationship is not simply a bulk order. It is an ongoing supply arrangement in which both sides invest: you invest in market development, stock and local channel relationships; we invest in capacity, tooling, stock allocation and consistent quality. In practice that means:
- Recurring supply - reorder the same models with consistent specifications rather than a one-off shipment
- Price structure - quoted tiers that improve as annual volume grows, agreed in writing up front
- Model protection - agreed terms on whether your best sellers can be sold to other buyers in your market
- Support - product images, specification sheets, packaging options and after-sales guidance
The commercial detail of that structure sits in our wholesale pricing and unit cost guide, which explains what drives the number on your quotation.
Who the Program Is For
| Partner type | Typical needs | What we focus on |
|---|---|---|
| Importer / distributor | Container or pallet volumes, local sub-distribution, warehousing | Volume tier pricing, model allocation, mixed-model cartons |
| Wholesaler / trade supplier | Fast replenishment, broad range, credit terms | Ready-stock availability, short lead times, repeatable specs |
| Retail chain / brand owner | Private label, own packaging, consistent quality | OEM and ODM development, packaging, quality agreements |
| Online seller / marketplace | Smaller runs, dropship or FBA-ready packing | Low MOQ entry, retail-ready packing, product content |
Customization requirements are handled through our OEM/ODM service process, and both are described in the customization options guide.
What Partners Get
Factory-direct pricing
You buy from the factory, not through a trading layer. That removes one margin from the chain and gives you a cost basis you can build retail pricing on. Our pricing guide breaks down movement, case, strap, plating and packaging costs so you can see where the value sits.
A wide, proven range
Our catalogue covers men's and women's quartz watches across silicone, leather and stainless steel straps, plus ready-to-ship stock for buyers who need to start small. Browse the full factory catalogue, or start from our best-selling men's and women's ranges.
Marketing and content support
Product photography, specification data and descriptive content help your listings and printed material move faster. Well-presented product data also supports the search visibility of your own storefront - see our guide to selling watches online for how that works in practice.
Quality and compliance documentation
We can supply the material, battery and labeling information that importers need, and we recommend agreeing the document list before the first order. Our export compliance guide lists what is normally requested and why. Quality terms, inspection rights and defect handling are covered in our bulk order inspection guide and warranty and after-sales guide.
Territory and Exclusivity
Exclusivity is negotiable, and it is always tied to performance rather than granted on request. The usual shape is: a defined territory, a defined model list, a minimum annual or quarterly volume, and a review period. If exclusivity matters to your business model, raise it at the first conversation and be ready to discuss realistic volume - a distributor who can move 5,000 pieces a year will be treated differently from one projecting 50,000, and both are welcome at the right scale.
How to Apply
- Tell us your market and channel - country, whether you sell online, offline or both, and who your end customers are
- Indicate your expected range and volumes - models of interest and realistic first-year quantities help us quote properly
- Share your company profile - existing watch or accessory experience, registered business, current suppliers if relevant
- Receive a quotation and sample options - we come back with tiered pricing, lead times and sample arrangements
- Agree terms and place a trial order - most partnerships start with a first order sized to test the market
Unsure how large a first order should be? Our guide to sizing a first watch order covers the trade-off between MOQ, freight and cash flow.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a fee to join the distributor program?
No. We do not charge membership or listing fees. Partnership is based on purchase volume and agreed terms, not on an upfront payment.
What is the minimum order to become a distributor?
Entry is deliberately low - many wholesale models start from a small number of pieces per model, so a new partner can test the market before committing to larger runs. Distributor tier pricing begins at higher annual volumes; see the first order guide for how buyers usually plan that step up.
Can I sell under my own brand?
Yes. Private label and OEM production are available - dial, logo, packaging and carton can be customized. See OEM vs ODM vs private label for the difference between the options.
Do you protect distributors from price competition in the same market?
Where exclusivity is agreed, it is written into the terms with defined models, territory and volumes. Without an exclusivity agreement, the range remains open to other buyers.
How long does it take to start?
For in-stock models, orders can usually ship quickly once payment and specifications are confirmed. Custom or private label runs need additional development and production time, which we confirm in writing before you commit.
