Mini Focus Wholesale Buyer FAQ: Everything to Know Before You Order

Most first conversations with new buyers cover the same ground. This page collects those questions in one place so you can plan properly before requesting a quotation. For the wider picture of how a wholesale watch business works, see our wholesale watch business guide.

Ordering and Minimums

What is the minimum order quantity?

MOQ depends on the model and whether customization is involved. Stock models have the lowest entry, mixed-model orders are usually possible, and custom or tooled designs need higher volumes to be economical. Send us the models you are considering and we will confirm the MOQ per model rather than give a single blanket figure. Our first order guide explains how buyers choose a starting size.

Can I mix models in one order?

Yes, mixed-model orders are common, subject to per-model minimums. Mixed cartons help you test several styles without committing deeply to any one.

Do you supply samples?

Yes. Samples can be arranged so you can assess quality, finish and packaging before committing to bulk. Where a sample is charged, the cost and any credit against a future order are confirmed in advance.

Pricing

How is the price built up?

Unit cost reflects movement, case material and finishing, strap, dial work, plating, packaging and order quantity, plus applicable freight terms. Our wholesale pricing guide walks through each element so you can see what is driving the number and where to trade off.

Do prices improve with volume?

Yes. Tiered pricing based on quantity and annual volume is standard, and distributor terms at higher volumes are described in our distributor program. Quotations are confirmed in writing - we do not publish a fixed price list because freight, specification and volume all move the figure.

Are your prices quoted with shipping?

We confirm whether a quotation is ex-works, FOB or otherwise as part of the offer, so there is no ambiguity about who arranges and pays for freight. See the packaging and shipping guide for the practical side of moving goods.

Lead Times and Payment

How long does an order take?

In-stock models move fastest; production runs take longer, and custom or tooled designs longer still. We confirm the schedule for your specific order in writing rather than quoting a generic figure. The stage-by-stage view is in our OEM/ODM service process.

What payment terms do you offer?

Terms are agreed per order and per relationship. Standard practice in the industry - and something worth understanding before you negotiate - is that first orders usually involve a deposit with the balance due at or before shipment. Confirm the exact terms on your quotation.

Can I get a trial order before committing to bulk?

Yes, and we recommend it. A trial order lets you check quality, packaging and delivery before scaling up.

Quality and Customization

How do I know the quality will match the sample?

Specifications are fixed in a written sheet and production runs against the approved sample. Buyers can also agree inspection terms, including pre-shipment inspection - see the bulk order inspection guide for how sampling and defect handling work.

What can be customized?

Dial design, logo placement, hands, case finishing, strap, buckle, packaging and carton can all be adapted, with cost and tooling implications that vary by option. The customization options guide sorts them by cost, and OEM vs ODM vs private label explains the routes.

Can I put my own brand on the watch and packaging?

Yes. Private label is one of the most common requests, and both the watch and the packaging can carry your branding. Confirm artwork requirements early, since they affect the production schedule.

Shipping, Warranty and Documentation

How are the watches packed and shipped?

Packing is agreed before production - retail boxes, gift packaging and carton configuration all affect freight. Details and practical advice are in our packaging and shipping guide.

What if goods arrive damaged or defective?

The approach is agreed in advance: what is covered, what evidence is required, and how claims are resolved. Our warranty and after-sales guide covers warranty structure, defect handling and the terms worth agreeing with a factory before the first order.

What documents do I need to import?

Requirements vary by market and cover materials, battery transport, labeling and, in some cases, radio equipment. Our export compliance guide lists the documentation normally requested and what to ask your supplier for.

Which markets do your watches sell well in?

Demand differs by region and is shaped by climate, price sensitivity and channel. Our regional market selection guide summarizes what typically works where, as a starting point rather than a guarantee.
